Leeds based, six piece folk band Hunting bears have released their Brother Sister EP, a truly mesmerising collection of songs. This is a record full of heartfelt; anthemic tunes none more so than the rousing opening track Julia which really sets the tone for what’s to come from Hunting Bears. The understated and haunting vocals are also a highlight of the record and this can be heard in particular on the sublime Boardwalks of the Zhan Qiao. This is definitely a record with no bad songs on it and the excellent Primrose Hill makes sure things end on a fitting note.
