Transient Scenesis the latest EP from Liverpool’s post punkers and is yet another fine release on the outstanding Bleeding Gold Records.
This really is a fine record with an obvious heavy eighties influence as can be heard on the great synths that kick off the superb opening track Dear Sweetheart. The brooding Slow sounds like sounds similar to early stuff from The Killers but it is however much more preferable to the Las Vegas band. There’s also more than a hint of the goth sound of bands like The Cure, emphasises on the excellent A Place Unknown. So Sexual draw proceedings to a close on the marauding People Talk a great tune that highlights the brilliant vocals that feature heavily on a superb EP.
