The Back Pages is the solo project of Orlando’s Casey Allen and this EP is a short sharp burst of hugh octane garage rock. Opening track Only a Dream starts things off with a band and has a great repetitive chorus and is quickly followed by Not Where I Belong which has a brilliant lo-fi sound to it. The EP comes in at seven minutes and it is this sense of urgency that makes it so fun to listen as can be heard on Go to Bed which draws things to a close really well.
