Terrible Eyes-This is Terrible

London’s Terrible Eyes, This is Terrible oozes of post-punk and really does remind you a lot of The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster.  The Eighties Matchbox reference can be seen mostly in opening two tracks, Short Sharp Electric and Your Problem which are a pair of belters which get you loving the record from the get go.  The instrumental Lovesong borders somewhere between new wave and psychedelia, giving the EP a nice middle ground.  Falling Down has a much darker sound and sees Terrible Eyes bring it down a notch or two, however it is also a great way to end the record.
