Cornwall’s Lonely Hunters begin this EP with the psychedelic Crystal Timeline, which starts to border towards shoegaze towards the end of the track. Up next is the title track which is an organ infused garage rock stormer which sounds like it shouldn’t work but somehow it just does. The Witching Hour sees another change in pace and is really nice pop tune with great guitars to back it up. The much heavier Parallel Space Age sees the band veering back toward psychedelia and has a heavy 60’s influence, as does the rest of the EP. Epic closer Cash Lullaby sees more shoegaze action and is really fitting way to end a good record.
