High Pop-Hippie Speed Ball

American duo, High Pop’s Hippie Speed Ball EP begins with a fine piece of lo-fi punk rock in the form of The Shakes.  High Pop tone it down on the next two tracks with the fuzzy Drip From the Seafollowed by the calming Seaweed.  The Charm is a much more frantic number, while Love us Too finds some middle ground and fits in really well with the rest of the record.  Acid Tooth is a really nice, relaxed track that reminds you of summer, the EP then ends appropriately with Crafts.  All but two of the tracks come in at under two minutes High Pop have given us an EP full of short lo-fi gems
